Work Permit
- Contract with Georgian company
- Salary ≥ ~1,300 GEL/month
- Company turnover ≥ 50,000 GEL per foreign employee
- 40+ days of legal stay left
D5 Permit (Property)
- Own real estate worth ≥ USD 100k
- Spouse + minor children included
- Permit void if property sold
Investment Permit
- Invest ≥ USD 300k in company/real estate
- 5-year permit → eligible for permanent residence
Family Permit
- For spouse and minor children only
- Sponsor’s permit + relationship proof required
Student Permit
- Enrollment in recognized Georgian institution
- Valid for 6–12 months (renewable)

Must complete 10 years of legal temporary residence
Required: Legal stay history, income proof, accommodation, clean criminal record

General path: 10 years of legal residence
Fast-track: 5 years if married to a Georgian citizen
Must pass:
- Georgian language test
- Knowledge test of history & law
Dual citizenship allowed only in limited cases (e.g., by descent)

Overstay fines:
- <3 months: GEL 180
- 3 months: GEL 360
Residency permits strictly verified – criminal record or overstays may lead to rejection
Students & property owners: permits may start short-term (6–12 months), require renewal
Remote workers: visa-free allowed, but tax implications may apply for long stays
